PRESTON MANOR: Upstairs Downstairs or Trapped In-between.

In 2006, LPS founder, Ian Shillito filmed an episode of Most Haunted at the manor. After nearly 4 years he returns with his team to find out whether the ghosts he felt during that vigil still reside within the houses shadows. Preston Manor has a colourful history of spirit communication and ghostly apparitions. Add sightings of spectral nuns, floating hands and gray ladies with an eerie dusky atmosphere and one can ensure that Preston Manor is worthy of a return visit. Join Ian and the gang as they retrace his steps. 

PARANORMAL ACTIVITY

As each page of the history book is turned back, we discover that the manor has housed ghosts, spirit and psychic disturbances for centuries. One of the most famous was documented in late 19th century when the resident family was plagued with unexplainable noises, and apparitions of a white lady. This sequence of events culminated in the manifestation of a disembodied hand floating in mid air. So troubled were the family that they immediately conducted a séance which was documented. In the Second World War, the full bodied apparition of a lady in gray was witnesses, and during the 1950,s the ghost of a nun presented herself to the caretaker’s children on many occasions.  Ian’s last visit encountered several entities attached to the house. He claimed a boisterous male owner and two older ladies were haunting the property.  

HISTORY

Preston Manor in Brighton is an authentic Edwardian Manor house whose site origins can be traced as far back to the middle ages, although the first house was built in 1600, although much refurbishment and alterations were executed in 1905. It was a family home for 138 years before it was passed to the council for use as a public museum.

THE EVENT

The night will consist of a welcome meeting, brief talk about ghosts and spirits, a walk around, group vigils, psychic experiments, experienced psychics and investigators. You will be pro-active during the base line tests and get the chance to monitor our ghost hunting gadgets throughout the night.
Tea, Coffee and biscuits will be served.
